After four intense days, A+A 2025 in Dusseldorf has come to a successful close. The international trade fair for occupational safety, security, and health impressed visitors with high attendance and dynamic trade fair activities. From November 4 to 7, 2,340 exhibitors from 70 countries presented a wide range of products, technologies, and system solutions for a safe and healthy working environment in 13 exhibition halls. Around 67,000 trade visitors from 150 countries took advantage of the opportunity to exchange ideas and learn about the latest developments.

A+A 2025 shows: Sustainable success is closely linked to safe and healthy working

Marius Berlemann, Managing Director of Messe Düsseldorf, explains: "A+A has again impressively confirmed its role as the global meeting point for safety and health at work and as an important economic driver for the industry. Here investment is made, partnerships are forged, and innovations become visible that set standards worldwide. A+A 2025 has shown the creative power behind this industry and how closely sustainable success is linked with safe and healthy work."

New developments and trends at A+A 2025

The focus of interest was on topics such as ergonomics, artificial intelligence, and new forms of work. Digital assistance systems, sustainable materials in PPE, and mental health in the workplace were particularly in demand. The Exo Park showcased practical applications of exoskeletons and digital ergonomic solutions. In the area of workwear and PPE, the focus was also on functional protective clothing made from lightweight materials, with smart features and sustainable manufacturing. Stefan Brück, CEO of the Uvex Group and Chairman of the A+A Exhibitor Advisory Board, adds: “A+A exerts enormous influence emanating from Dusseldorf. It connects people, markets and innovations, in Europe and worldwide. As the world’s leading business platform, it provides decisive impetus for safe and healthy work.”

Impulses from the start-up environment came from the international start-up zone and the special area of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy. Young companies presented sensor-supported protection systems, AI-based evaluations, and resource-saving safety solutions, among other things.

A+A 2025 as a platform for international exchange

A key feature of A+A 2025 was its international focus. International visitors accounted for 52 percent of the total, with 16 percent traveling from overseas. According to the organizers, 81 percent of trade visitors were decision-makers. The trade fair thus provided a platform for investment, innovation, and new business relationships.

The highly international nature of the trade fair underscores the growing global importance of occupational safety and health. Companies and experts from all over the world used A+A 2025 to exchange best practices and enter into forward-looking collaborations. The diversity of countries and industries ensured a broad spectrum of opinions and new impetus for the industry.

Congress topics ranged from the digitalization of occupational safety to innovations in occupational medicine

The 39th A+A Congress took place parallel to the trade fair. Around 3,000 participants attended approximately 100 events with 330 speakers to learn about current issues in occupational safety and occupational medicine. New formats such as the Vision Zero Stage and the A+A Cinema ensured practical relevance and high visitor numbers. Safety Officers' Day focused on their role and further training.

The congress program covered topics ranging from the digitalization of occupational safety and health to health-promoting leadership, violence prevention, and innovations in occupational medicine. Certification points could be earned. Dr. Christian Felten, Managing Director of the Federal Working Group for Safety and Health at Work (Basi), drew a positive conclusion: "The A+A Congress 2025 has made it clear: prevention is more than theory. It is experienceable and forward-looking. Now we are looking ahead to the 40th A+A Congress 2027 in Dusseldorf, with fresh impulses and the aim of making the world of work safer and healthier."

A+A 2025 supporting program combines knowledge transfer and experience

The comprehensive supporting program at A+A 2025 rounded off the trade fair. In the Trend Forum, experts discussed AI, mental health, and digital responsibility. In the field of fire protection and emergency management, live demonstrations offered practical insights into modern rescue technologies. The Corporate Fashion Show presented collections of modern workwear that combine protection, design, and comfort several times a day.

Outlook for A+A 2027

The next A+A will take place in Dusseldorf from October 19 to 22, 2027. The organizers plan to build on the success of A+A 2025 and further expand the range of products and services on offer. New thematic focuses and interactive formats are intended to further strengthen the international relevance of the trade fair.
