As the world's largest trade fair for packaging solutions, Interpack 2026 stands for visibility, international exchange, and technological diversity. For Gerhard Schubert, the trade fair marks an important step in the further development of its own portfolio. The Crailsheim-based company is presenting a revised product strategy, a newly designed booth layout, and innovative exhibits, including the premiere of a new generation of “TLM” technology.
Revised portfolio for packaging solutions
With this realignment, Schubert is bundling its core technologies “TLM,” “lightline,” and “tog” into a consistent portfolio. Modular packaging solutions for different performance requirements will be on display. These range from preconfigured systems to fully integrated lines based on “TLM” assemblies to standardized production cells. Visitors to the trade fair stand will gain insights into all three technology areas. In addition, experts from Service, Packaging Competence Center (PCC), Schubert Turnkey, Consulting, and Schubert Pharma will be available for in-depth discussions. “Schubert solves complex as well as simple packaging tasks with solutions whose advantages trade fair visitors in Düsseldorf will be able to experience in a practical setting,” explains Marcel Kiessling, Managing Director Sales and Service at Gerhard Schubert.
New “TLM” generation with higher performance density
One focus at Interpack is the further development of “TLM” technology. On May 7 at 11:15 a.m., Schubert will demonstrate a new generation of “TLM” machines using a flowpacker. The revised machine and control structure enables higher performance density with reduced space requirements. A stiffer frame and newly developed pick-and-place tools increase performance. At the same time, additional units and conveyor technology can be integrated in the same installation space, with improved accessibility. The communication technology has also been adapted: instead of Sercos-III, the robotics standard Ethercat is now used. The concept is complemented by a modular scanner system that increases the flexibility of the line.
Pharmaceutical packaging solutions in hygienic design
TLM technology is also the focus of Schubert Pharma. A cartoner in consistent hygienic design meets the requirements of sensitive pharmaceutical applications. The system packs vials into boxes including compartments and package inserts. The table design prevents product losses within the machine and contributes to a stable packaging process. This is a decisive factor for process reliability in regulated environments.
Standardized packaging solutions for economical entry
With the “lightline” product range, Schubert addresses less complex, standardizable packaging tasks. Two variants are on display at Interpack: a cartoner for bars and a new “lightline” case packer for boxes in wrap-around cartons. The series also includes pick-and-place machines and flow packers. The aim is to provide an economical entry point while ensuring fast productivity.
Compact, integrable production cells
The “tog” product line stands for fully standardized production cells that perform individual functions in the packaging process and can be flexibly integrated into existing lines, including those from other manufacturers. At Interpack, Schubert will be showcasing the AI-supported “tog.519” robot together with the “tog.101” erector in a separate area for compact standalone solutions. Two “tog.519” systems will demonstrate the separation and precise placement of products such as bags or bottles in live operation. The “tog.101” erects cartons and boxes in parallel and achieves up to 60 carton trays per minute. The standardized modules enable high efficiency with low space requirements. You will find Gerhard Schubert at Interpack 2026 in Düsseldorf in Hall 14 at Booth D01.
