Review of the 2024 trade fair
Over 130,000 visitors from 150 countries came to Hannover Messe 2024 to talk to the 4,000 exhibiting companies and 300 start-ups about how they can digitalize their value chains and make them more resilient. More than 40 percent of visitors came from abroad. After Germany, the most important visitor countries were China, the Netherlands, the USA, Korea and Japan. In addition, more than 300 economic policy delegations from all over the world visited the industry trade fair. The event has thus proven that it combines the best of technology innovation, business trade fair and economic policy agenda-setting worldwide. This makes it the "driving force behind the incipient upswing" in Germany and Europe, and not just for Federal Economics Minister Robert Habeck.
