From 7 to 13 May 2026, the global packaging industry will be inviting manufacturers from a wide range of sectors, such as the food industry, to Interpack 2026 in Düsseldorf. Companies will be presenting new products along the entire value chain and exchanging ideas with packaging experts and interested parties about the top trends. The focus will be on packaging materials, packaging machines and related process technology. Interpack is a global source of inspiration for the industry's future topics, from sustainability to digitalisation.

At Interpack 2026, manufacturers will present their new solutions for processes and machines for the packaging of food, beverages, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, consumer goods from the non-food sector and industrial goods. Packaging materials, packaging materials and packaging aids, packaging production, further processing and packaging printing as well as marking technology and labelling through to services, logistics and transport round off the range. The spectrum of exhibits covers the process steps from the production and finishing of packaged goods and packaging materials to packaging and distribution, quality assurance and consumer protection. Spurred on by the great success of Interpack 2023, concrete planning has begun for the next event in Düsseldorf in 2026. Around two years before the trade fair date, the starting signal has been given for the registration phase. Whether global corporation or start-up: no company is too small or too large to be part of this unique event. In 2026, the leading trade fair will once again bring together the global processing & packaging industry and become a driving force for the industry's future topics.

Review of the Interpack 2023

Last year, 2,728 exhibitors from 61 countries came to the packaging trade fair and the supplier trade fair Components, which took place at the same time. 70 percent came from Europe, 16 percent from Asia, nine percent from America and four percent from Africa. 95 percent of exhibitors want to return, according to the trade fair organiser. This is also due to the fact that Interpack is always about "big business": 82 percent of visitors belong to top management and are involved in investment decisions. Two thirds of the more than 142,000 visitors came from industry. You can read a review of the last trade fair in 2023 here.
