Since July 18, 2023, the Arburg subsidiary in Querétaro, Mexico, has a new managing director in Mario Rodriguez Navarro. He has taken over from Guillermo Fasterling, who has successfully built up and expanded the subsidiary since it opened in 2008. Mario Rodriguez Navarro brings with him the best qualifications for his task as Managing Director. He holds a bachelor's degree in electronic systems engineering from the Tecnológico de Monterrey and a master's degree in business administration from the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León.

In addition, he has many years of management, sales, project and technical experience in the robotics and automation sectors and therefore also knows plastics processing very well. Before joining Arburg, he worked for ABB as well as Honeywell and most recently as Managing Director at Kuka in Mexico. As Managing Director of Arburg Mexico, Mario Rodriguez Navarro has a strong team at his side to support customers.

Arburg in Mexico

Mexico is a market with very large and steadily growing potential for the plastics processing machinery manufacturer. The entire region is strongly characterized by automotive and medical technology, but the packaging industry is also catching up fast. Likewise, the addition and creation of added value through high-end machine technology in combination with digital tools such as the master computer system (ALS) and the "arburgXworld" customer portal, which encompasses all digital products and services, is gaining momentum. The product portfolio is complemented by professional consulting and comprehensive support in the areas of sales as well as pre-sales and after-sales service. Here, Arburg Mexico is ideally positioned: The 37-strong team also includes experts for application technology, automation and turnkey projects. In addition, there is a telephone hotline, competent service technicians, a spare parts warehouse, a showroom and training courses offered by the Mexican subsidiary.

North America is the largest sales market for Arburg

Recently, the German manufacturer of injection molding machines also made new appointments to the company management in the USA. Martin Baumann took up the position of CEO at Arburg USA on June 01, 2023. He has taken over from Friedrich Kanz, who has stepped down from the management of the US subsidiary after more than 23 years for reasons of age. Arburg Inc. was founded in 1990 and has been headquartered in Rocky Hill, Connecticut, since 2015. North America is the largest foreign market for the company. Due to the size and importance of the U.S. market, the machine builder is represented at three locations. In addition to the headquarters in the East, the Technology Centers in Elgin, Illinois, and Irvine, California, serve customers in the Midwest and on the West Coast. In total, over 100 employees work in North America.
