Vetter, a global pharmaceutical service provider, is expanding its management team. From January 2025, Thomas Otto and Peter Sölkner will join Henryk Badack, Titus Ottinger and Carsten Press in managing the family-owned company. By expanding its management team, the independent CDMO for the manufacturing of complex injectable drugs is ensuring its sustainable growth.  “We at Vetter are committed to investing in our future and the continuous successes of our customers,” shared Senator h.c. Udo J. Vetter, Chairman of the Advisory Board and member of the owner family. “By expanding the managing directors’ team, we are continuing the course for a sustainably successful future and further growth. Ultimately, we view this enhancement as a commitment to meeting the increasingly complex needs and expectations of our global customer base, in order to take care for patients in need worldwide. We take great pride in welcoming our three new managing directors to their upcoming roles.”

Henryk Badack is in charge of quality and development at Vetter

Henryk Badack is taking over responsibility for the quality and development divisions. As Senior Vice President Technical Service and Internal Project Management, he was previously responsible for all internal, technical and infrastructural projects, plant and site development, occupational safety, environmental and energy management, as well as the optimization of existing and the introduction of new processes. Henryk Badack, who has been with the company since 2003, also managed Vetter's global sustainability initiatives.

Titus Ottinger takes over management of finance & controlling

Titus Ottinger is moving from Senior Vice President Finance & Controlling to management of both areas. In addition to finance and accounting, he was already responsible for risk management, insurance and controlling for business process management. Titus Ottinger has been with Vetter since 2004.

Carsten Press becomes Managing Director for Supply Chain Management and Human Resources

Carsten Press completes the new management team. He is responsible for Supply Chain Management and Human Resources. Previously, he was Senior Vice President Global Sales Organization & Supply Chain Management, with responsibility for the global sales and supply chain organization, as well as product management and marketing. Carsten Press has been with the company since 2009.

Thomas Otto and Peter Sölkner continue as Vetter managing directors

Thomas Otto and Peter Sölkner continue to successfully lead the company. Under their leadership, Vetter has developed dynamically. Thomas Otto remains responsible for Production/Technology and Technical Service/Internal Project Management. He has been a managing director since 2002. Peter Sölkner, a managing director since 2008, continues to focus on corporate development and global sales.

By expanding its management team, Vetter is responding to the high priority and growing importance of the individual areas for its further successful development. In this way, the pharmaceutical service provider is emphasizing the role of the family-owned company as a growing, global enterprise.
