In a market environment characterized by geopolitical uncertainty, sovereign cybersecurity is becoming increasingly important for companies and public institutions. In response to this need, Sentinel-One and Schwarz Digits are entering into a strategic partnership starting in September 2025.
Sovereign cybersecurity through platform and cloud integration
The cooperation brings Sentinel-One's AI-powered cybersecurity platform to Stackit's certified cloud infrastructure. This provides companies in Europe with a sovereign security solution that processes data exclusively in Germany and is subject to the strict requirements of the GDPR.
“In Europe, we must use and further develop cutting-edge technology without giving away our data. Otherwise, we will lose our innovative strength and economic power. The partnership with SentinelOne is the perfect example of how technology openness and data sovereignty can be reconciled,” says Rolf Schumann, Co-CEO of Schwarz Digits.
Digital sovereignty as a foundation
“We provide the secure and compliant infrastructure on which SentinelOne can offer its leading-edge holistic Cybersecurity suite. This synergy creates tremendous value for the market and strengthens the digital resilience of the European economy and public sector,” adds Christian Müller, Co-CEO of Schwarz Digits.
Sentinel One CEO Tomer Weingarten also emphasizes the relevance: “Our European customers are demanding security solutions that combine state-of-the-art protection with full data sovereignty. Partnering with Schwarz Digits enables us to meet this demand - giving customers in highly regulated industries the confidence to embrace AI-powered cybersecurity without compromise.”
Sovereign cybersecurity for IT and OT environments
The solution covers the entire lifecycle for IT and OT environments: from identification and prevention to detection and response to recovery. Sentinel-One and Schwarz Digits are thus creating a sovereign alternative for security solutions in Europe.
The Sentinel-One platform protects workloads across endpoints, the cloud, and identities. More than 11,000 customers worldwide already rely on AI and behavioral analytics to autonomously defend against threats such as ransomware in real time.
Stackit as a European cloud base
The collaboration with Stackit provides a scalable, GDPR-compliant infrastructure. High-security data centers in Germany and other European locations meet international standards such as ISO 27001 and the C5 criteria of the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI).
German companies can also already use XM-Cyber's CTEM (Continuous Threat Exposure Management) platform via Stackit. It helps security teams prioritize and specifically address vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and identity risks.
Strengthening European cybersecurity
The availability of the Sentinel One platform on Stackit provides European companies with a comprehensive security solution. It combines state-of-the-art AI technologies with sovereign data storage and sets new standards for sovereign cybersecurity in Europe.
