Biesterfeld Spezialchemie, a business unit of the Biesterfeld Group, is bundling its business in the three overarching clusters "Industrial", "Consumer" and "Healthcare" with immediate effect. With the new structure and a newly created management level of Global Business Directors, the Group, which is one of the leading international distributors, intends to strategically drive forward its worldwide market and sales growth.
Bettina Heick will assume overall responsibility for the further worldwide business development of the Lifescience, Essentials and Nutrition departments of Biesterfeld Spezialchemie as Global Business Director in the Consumer sector. She will be succeeded as Business Manager Lifescience, with the associated market segments Personal Care and Cleaning, by Bartosz Piatkowski. He was most recently Sales Director Europe. In the Industrial cluster, Dr. Jacek Polewski will take over responsibility for the Polymer Additives, Case and Performance Products departments as Global Business Director. Sergej But, most recently Head of Sales Europe, will follow as the new Business Manager Performance Products with responsibility for the market segments Electro, Electronic and Energy, Adhesives & Lubricants and Composites & Tooling. The Healthcare segment is headed by Dr. Andreas Lekebusch and Hartmut Zeller as Global Business Directors. The cluster consists of the Pharma & Medical division and the Advanced Intermediates and APIs market segments.
