Siemens Digital Industries Software has introduced the “PartQuest Design Enablement” portfolio, a connected digital environment aimed at electronic component manufacturers. The platform is designed to enable more targeted, continuous engagement with customers while improving operational efficiency.
Siemens integrates tools and data for efficient workflows
The solution integrates product discovery, interactive content, bill-of-material intelligence, collaboration and digital support into a unified, data-driven environment. According to Siemens, this approach replaces fragmented support processes and turns customer interactions into opportunities for deeper engagement and actionable insights.
Collaboration with industry partners
The launch was presented at “Microchip MASTERs 2025”, where Microchip Technology was announced as an early adopter. Rich Simoncic, Chief Operating Officer at Microchip Technology, emphasised the role of the collaboration in improving the customer experience in the electronics sector. He noted that the cooperation aligns with the company’s strategy of delivering complete system solutions in partnership with industry leaders.
Siemens focuses on customer experience and efficiency
AJ Incorvaia, Senior Vice President at Siemens Digital Industries Software, said: “'PartQuest Design Enablement' represents a strategic leap forward in how electronic component manufacturers build digital relationships with their customers. By unifying design content, supply intelligence, collaboration and real-time analytics, PartQuest Design Enablement gives manufacturers like Microchip a powerful way to drive both operational efficiency and customer satisfaction at scale.”
Practical demonstration at industry event
During the event, Siemens demonstrated how “PartQuest Design Enablement” supports the process from concept to implementation. The showcase included Siemens’ design tools, “CELUS” block-based design, and Microchip components, with functional demonstration boards of an electronic memory game provided to attendees. The platform is now available through the company and is positioned as a tool for building scalable, connected ecosystems between component manufacturers and their customers.
