Handtmann Processing has completed the integration of the Inotec product line into its international business processes. The company is thus pushing ahead with the strategic development of its structures and placing a clear focus on integrated process chains in global large-scale plant engineering for food processing.

Centralization at Handtmann's Biberach location

From January 1, 2026, all processes for new and used machines from the Inotec organizational units will be handled via the standard processes at Handtmann in Biberach. Spare parts management will also be centralized there. Integration into the modern logistics center is intended to improve availability, delivery speed, and service quality worldwide.

Handtmann Reutlingen becomes a technology campus

The Reutlingen site will take on a new role within the mechanical engineering company's corporate structure: in future, it will function as a technology campus focusing on development and project planning in the field of process and line technology for the Inotec product line. Customers will benefit directly from new technical solutions and a stronger application focus.

Synergy effects through integrated value chain

With the integration now complete, the company is pursuing its goal of further improving the interlinking of the areas of product preparation, processing, and handling. The structural realignment is intended to optimize interfaces to upstream and downstream solutions while strengthening innovative strength.

Handtmann sees strategic milestone achieved

Dr. Mark Betzold, CTO and COO at Handtmann, explains: With the integration of the Inotec Product Line into our global structures, we are optimizing our value chain and leveraging synergies that offer our customers practical benefits in their daily business worldwide. At the same time, they benefit from innovations generated by the targeted strengthening of our development expertise at the Reutlingen Campus. With this realignment of our sites and the bundling of competencies, we are consistently pursuing our goal of focused and globally oriented corporate management.”
