The next Hannover Messe will be held from April 22 to 26, 2024. At the upcoming Hannover Messe, international companies from the mechanical engineering, electrical and digital industries as well as the energy sector will present their solutions for resource-efficient, climate-neutral and resilient production. In 2023, more than 130,000 visitors came to the exhibition grounds in Hanover and met with more than 4,000 exhibitors. "Energizing a Sustainable Industry" will be the guiding theme for 2024.
The Hannover Messe currently comprises seven exhibition areas: Automation, Motion & Drives, Digital Ecosystems, Energy Solutions, Engineered Parts & Solutions, Future Hub, Compressed Air & Vacuum and Global Business & Markets. Solutions on topics such as CO2-neutral production, resilient supply chains, Industry 4.0, artificial intelligence, platform economy, IT security, Logistics 4.0, circular economy or hydrogen and fuel cells will be on display. From the digitalization of complex production processes and the use of hydrogen to operate entire production plants to the use of software to record and reduce the carbon footprint, the trade fair offers a holistic photo of the technological possibilities for the industry of today and tomorrow.
Norway is Partner Country at the industry tradeshow 2024, and its appointment as Partner Country underlines the country's ambition to deliver and develop new solutions for the green industrial transition. The lead theme "Norway 2024: Pioneering the Green Industrial Transition" highlights Norway's ambitions in terms of the transformation towards a low-carbon society as well as its key role in developing solutions in areas such as renewable energy, carbon-neutral production or the application of green and digital solutions. They are necessary to transform the industry and achieve the goal of zero emissions.
The exhibitors at Hannover Messe and Deutsche Messe draw a consistently positive conclusion for 2023. The world's leading trade fair for industry has shown that the technologies for competitive and climate-neutral industrial production are available. The next step is to implement these solutions consistently. The core topics at Hannover Messe included artificial intelligence, hydrogen, energy management, networked and intelligent production and the new Manufacturing-X data ecosystem. More than 4,000 exhibitors presented their solutions for a digital, networked and sustainable industry and met 130,000 visitors from all over the world in Hanover. That is 55,000 more visitors than 2022.
